August 2nd test results are out now and I got good score to apply under CEC.
All the best you guys
Congrats to you and all who scored higher. I too gave IELTS General Training test on Aug 2 with no preparation and it turned as is result. I am not sure if I qualify for FSW under NOC A 2174 Code.
Listening: 6.0
Reading: 5.0
Writing: 6.0
Speaking: 7.0
Overall: 6.0
I have written Celpip General too in the past and my scores are
Listening: 8.0
Reading: 6.0
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 7.0
Could anyone let me know if this score is enough to apply? I second it but still want to know from you. I cannot get this DAMN Reading part score high.
Dear All,
I got the below results in IELTS General Training:
Listening 5.5
Reading 5.0
Speaking 5.5
Writing 6.0
Can I apply for FSW for "Computer Network Tech." 2281 B ?
Waiting for replies guys..
Thanks in advance.

I think your IELTS score is not enough.
And also if you took CELPIP test after 1st April 2014 then your reading score is equals to 5 band in IELTS. I think both score will not support you for NOC 2174
Hi,
I too wrote IELTS on Aug 2 at mississauga centre. Unfortunately, my score were not enough as I got
Listening:6.0
Reading:5.0
Writing:6.0
Speaking:7.0
Pathetic, I though I did well in all sections.
In past, around June, I gave CELPIP and I got the same as results as above as I felt one short on Reading.
Listening:8.0
Reading:6.0
Writing:7.0
Speaking:7.0
DAMN, I cannot get this reading go higher. I feel I deserver more marks but I don;t want to wast time/money in re-evaluation instead I can try for one more time. Any suggestions?
Does this rule still valid:
6 for any one of those abilities, 7 or higher for any other two of those abilities and 8 or higher for the remaining ability
I took test on 2nd August
L 7.5
R 6.0
W 6.0
S 5.5
For NOC A level is OK or not?
Thanks for advice.

If I were you I never go with revaluation because that is waste of time and money. 99% no chance to get enough score in revaluation. Instead try get help from experienced people for reading part. All the best
