IELTS "Academic" vs "General"

Hello! I have done IELTS "Academic" and I am now applying for Canadian skilled workers programme. Do i need to do IELTS "General" for an immigration?

I cant find any document though where it was stated that IELTS General is required NOT IELTS Academic. Have you found any?

Its partial correct. I just google it and looks like Quebec program is the only Canadian Immigration program that will accept the academic version of the IELTS. See more details here http://www.canadim.com/canada-immigration-language-test/
I guess now i need to pass IELTS 'General' too .:-(

Unless you are good at French language, Quebec is a big no for most people.
