IELTS Academic for UKVI

Hello,

I am currently planning to apply for studies at universities in both the United Kingdom and Canada. Apparently for the UK visa I need to take a special (and expensive) kind of IELTS: the IELTS Academic for UKVI. However, I don't want to take two tests that are virtually the same, so I would like to know if with this test (IELTS Academic for UKVI) I can apply for studying at a Canadian University. Can someone help me?

IELTS for UKVI is the same as other IELTS - if you take Academics IELTS, you'll be able to use it for applying for schools in Canada
