In 2 years after I obtain a diploma from my UK college, I want to apply for the IEC to obtain a 2-year work permit and work in childcare etc.
I want to apply for this with help because I overstayed accidentally in Canada for 4 months, by the time I apply IEC 2 years will have passed since I was in Canada. (my husband and I split and I moved out, he never told m my visa arrived in the mail..)
I don't know if the overstay will b an issue because I didn't get in any trouble in Canada for it, I only found out I had overstayed when I became worried my visa wasn't coming so contact CIC. When I found out I had overstayed so long I left right away
I want to work the with IEC, but don't know if I can be accepted and what I can do to up my chances of being accepted, any help from the visa office or? I will be 23 by the time I apply.
