IDP or BC for IELTS

I am planning to re-take test for IELTS, some of my friends suggested to go for IDP instead of BC, because their marking are pretty lean and you can get the higher band. Please suggest which one to go.

i did with BC once , very rude ppl before the exam began. Later i went with IDP where everything was smooth and easy

I have taken both exams twice and found bc easier and lenient. I was able to achieve clb 9. I am in Canada and will recommend to go with bc.
