It says in the checklist (for common-law) to as well as passport and birth certificate to send national identity cards. Does a drivers license count as that? Or will I have to order a specific card?

Thank you

No, a DL is not a national identity card. If you don't know what it is, your country doesn't issue it, so it is N/A.

I looked it up and apparently we do have these, no one really uses them tho and they are quite expensive to get. You also have to do it in person which I can't do before I apply for my PR. I s there gonna be a problem if I leave it out from my application? I cluöd always fly to the Swedish Embassy in Ottowa to get one if I really have to...

re-read the checklist. more than likely a national identity card is 1 of many options a person can submit. the checklist doesn't suggest a person needs to submit ALL the options. if other forms of identity documents are available, then more than likely there is no need to supply a national identity card.

Just put N/A. You don't need to fly to Ottawa.
