ID of IELTS test

Dears,
I had my IELTS test last month with my passport as an identification then just after the test, I lost the passport and had to get a new one with a new passport number different from that one written on the Test Report Form (TRF). I received an Invitation To Apply for the latest express entry draw on August 22nd. Now I'm going to submit my e-APR with my new passport that has a different number, would that be a problem by any means ? Should I clarify that with a letter of explanation supported with a copy of my old passport Bio page ?

Yes i would imagine so. If you have had the passport scan copy , I mean the old one attach it too.
