I'm applying for citizenship online and would appreciate some guidance on the two required pieces of ID. The IDs must include my name, date of birth, photo, and signature.
Here's what I have:
Passport: Contains all required information.
PR Card: Contains all required information.
Health Card: This card was issued during COVID and does not have a photo.
My concern is that I recall seeing on a paper application checklist that a PR card can only be used if the second piece of ID is Canadian government-issued. If this is still the case for online applications, then my passport and PR card combination might not be valid.
My questions are:
Can I use my passport and health card (even though the health card has no photo)?
If not, what are my options? Can the passport and PR card be used together for the online application?
