For Reading:
Read articles as much as possible from Australian and UK based online magazines..
While reading try to skim first and the theme.. then go ahead..

Reading is too tough as far as I am concerned. when we wrote the reading test, first passage was ok. in the second passage, they twisted the theme in that situation, we gave up everything and wished to accept 4.5 in reading. (that much mental pressure we friends had that time -- IELTS through IDP). For third passage, we got no time at all. finally we got enough marks..


In the exam time, the AC will be full. so you may tend to go rest room. If you go, you may lose your time. So, don't drink too much before the exam. try some energy drinks instead. (it's allowed.. in IDP.. i don't know about British..).

Don't get distracted with instructor while Reading Test. They will tell 40 min left like that.. It may disturb u..

I know you are from Kuwait and I just gav my test on August 5th. I know all the rules and regulations of British Council. No idea about IDP. If you need any help or study materials, pm me and maybe we can meet and I can give you the materials I have. Good Luck Mohd.
