Hi,
Registered Nurse NOC 3152 - already CAP reached. If your profession is for that NOC, you can try for next year, if you meet all other requirements.
What is GNM Nurse ?.
I hope hmisabpk will give you appropriate guidance, if he come across with this post or any one else.
Are you BSC in Nursing?
your course approved for registration of Indian and Foreign Nurses possessing foreign qualification under section 11(2)(a) of the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947. then you are elligible to apply & find your experience under registered nurse NOC's, but look this year CAP of nurse NOC "3152 Registered Nurses (Cap reached)** " on october 18, 2011. so in this case you can not apply now for this year CAP is reached.
for your knowledge read more about the 3152 NOC if it will be exist next year in 2012 once new CAP announced than apply ASAP.
sorry dude.. try next time..
OMM
Go to this website:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp.Though the CAP for Nurses is filled for the present immigration year, you can prepare and apply as soon as the CAP is reset next year. Also, follow this forum to get updates.Personally, I would advice you to retake the IELTS.Higher score will give you higher point. This will improve your chance of getting PER.Just my opinion though. All the best.

Hi, Jatt420,
Wilson, omm and talk2melas has given the excellant replies to your query.
I can add following points
1.Take a test to check your points, you & your spouse both should take the test to see who scores the most points
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp
2.Check if you can have arranged employment in Canada
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-employment.asp
3.Re take IELTS exam, after a good preparation to increase your score
http://www.canadavisa.com/ielts/free-practice-tests.html
4.Read general information for Registered Nurse – NOC 3152 (
3152 Registered Nurses (Cap reached)
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG72.asp
For Wilson,
GNM = General Nursing and Midwifery
Hope that helps,
hmisabpk
Thanks hmisabpk, so it is not Bachelor of Nursing ?.

Hi, Wilson
No it is 3 years diploma.
It is not equal to Bachelor degree program, in Canada regulatory bodies are not accepting diploma to register as RN (registered Nurse), but it is acceptable as Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), still candidate need to attend the bridging program and / or The Canadian Registered Nurse Exam (CRNE)
Regards,
hmisabpk
Hi hmisabpk,
Thanks buddy, I got it.
