Dear All

Yes, i received a letter today advising me to complete some steps including submission of Passport at ABU DHABI. I am really happy but unsure about couple of points so seeking guidance from others in particular senior members.

Let me walk you through my long ordeal.... I applied in 2014, got acknowledged and processing started in 2015. After long wait, we got interview call which i passed in July 2017. On the second day, got medicals, submitted medical papers on 15th August 2017. After that background checks were conducted again, which i was surprised of as the next step i was expecting was passport submission. Anyways, i continue to provide them information they sought (five times documents submission only in 2018) and after many correspondence and submission of redundant and unnecessary information, finally i received passport submission request (just imagine i submitted police certificate three times on three different occasion even after submission of medical certificates). Getting police in Gulf countries is not easy but i continue to provide them information avoiding all frustrations (honestly i got frustrated many times). Just to relate to the context, my passport has valid 5 years US visa, UK visa and one year Schengen Visa so i had undergo lot of security and background checks before internationally, which made me more inquisitive of the long background check process. Anyways, its ending well so i am thankful to God.

While i am fine with all steps that I have to complete but i am not sure about this, can you please guide me. The letter says

" Your Permanent Resident Document (s) will expire one year after the date of your medical examinations or earlier if your passport or the passports of your spouse or dependant children (if applicable) expire on earlier date".

Now, I submitted my medical papers on 15th August 2017 and now one year has already passed. Do I need to undergo another medical examination.....Honestly, i am bit confused......because i am all shaking and afraid that I should not make error which cause further delays...... Can anyone explain me in detail what to do? they are not asking me to appear for medical rather complete few steps which includes submission of passport to Abu Dhabi.

Please also tell me those how to send the passport and other documents including pictures to ABU DHABI...they have given us 30 days to submit all.

I would appreciate if you clear my understanding on medical documents and let me know how to submit passports.

Your prompt reply would be highly appreciated.

Firstly, congratulations!
It is possible that your medicals are extended for a year. Just follow their instructions; you’ve been patient for this long and you’re at the finish line. If anything, they’ll send you further instructions.
As per sending the documents, I believe any of the major courier service will be fine. Wish you all the best.

Thank you kuskus

Can anyone please let me know if I need to send previous passport or current passport as well...

If you’ve updated your passport with the visa office previously, there’ll be no need to send the old one (and I’m guessing it was not requested), but if you just renewed, you should send both the old and new ones.
