I submitted my spousal sponsorship application via UPS in November 2020.Its been like 5 months I haven't got any response.

what should I do in that scenario please help.

I called them and they told me that they had received my documents. No AOR yet though. 1-888-242-2100

but what should I tell when I call them I don't have even the application number ...how I follow up with them?

They gave me an application number when I called them. I provided my first and last name and they were able to see my application with that.

thanks for the reply..So you still not able to track the progress of your application since you don't get AoR yet right ?

Some people said they were able to link it with the temp number I got on the phone but wouldn't work for me.

You get AOR through sponsor's email. If you read through the different threads a little or search a little, then you will see that many people are in the same position as you and have not received AOR1 yet and have been waiting for months and months. COVID has caused a LOT of problems. Calm down and understand that they will get to yours eventually. There are several Facebook and twitter groups that you can join or join on your month's thread so you can see what is going on with others that submitted around the same time as you. Nothing is consistent with IRCC at the moment.
