I came to Canada about a year ago on a valid work permit but now I have recieved a letter from Vegreville that says my application for the new work permit was refused because my lawyers or my company could not get me a valid LMO. my work permit expired exactly two months ago which means I am illegal now and I do not know what to do. My girlfriend wants us to get married but I am scared this work permit refusal might effect our marriage after we apply for the PR. I really need help here guys. what shall I do? Can I go ahead and marry her as she will sponsor me and we live together? or should I find another employer who can get me another LMO and save up the marriage after ?
