I made a blunder by cancelling my student visa.. please suggest what to do

Recently in August 2017 I went to Canada through student visa but due to certain circumstances, I went into depression that I had to came back to India within a month and in a hurry to get my scotia money, I cancelled my student visa
But I still ve the study permit.

Now I again want to go back through student visa. Do I need to do all the procedure from starting ? Or if I write an application to Canadian embassy claiming that I still ve a valid study permit n request them to re issue my student visa?

Please suggest me something

You will need to apply again and your previous cancellation of visa may go against you. No definite chance that you will get visa again until
unless you have very strong reason to justify your previous sudden depression and coming out of suddenly.

But the visa cancellation has a mark of "cancelled without prejudice"
Still is it less chance to get visa again ???

Try Canada again. I said "may' not definitely.

Australia you will get even after multiple rejection from many countries. They are very lenient
as they know after studies there's minimal or no chance of pr

How much percentage you think, they will grant me the visa again, because already lots of money went in vein because of me

No one here can predict. They can only tell you : Yes or No ... nothing inbetween.

Give a try and if you are genuinely suffering from depression get yourself treated as otherwise
you will waste your parents money again.

You withdrawl your Gic from scotiabank ??
If u get it pls tell me how to do this procedure because i also had same condition and i also want to get my gic refund.

Download scotia bank refund application form and fill in the required details and attach the required documents n u will get back the money within 4 weeks

You need to contact the high commission that issued the visa, VFS doesn't accept cancellation of visa procedure AFAIK.

I talked with vfs customer service and they said they need original passport with one photocopy and a letter from you in which you will write the reason why you come back and they will charge Rs.590 fee and near about 10 working days they will cancel your visa .

U need to go to VFS along with ur passport and with an application whereby ve to write about the exact reason about your cancellation of visa...
n after 1 week u will get ur passport back with a mark of 'cancelled without prejudice' on ur Canada visa

But before doing this make sure that u don't change ur plan to go back to Canada again by using student visa....

Great then. All the best and yes as Jenis pointed be sure if you want it this way and suddenly don't make a U-turn as other member on this forum did after cancellation.
