I got my PCC in March 2014. Based on the new changes, is my PCC good (or) do I need to get a new one.
I got my PCC from Indian consulate (I believe an Indian PCC is valid only for 1year). Does anyone know the current time taken by the Indian embassy in Toronto to issue a new PCC ?

For CIC purposes, your PCC is valid for,
1. 6 months from date of issue if you live in India currently. (If you get an ITA and submit the PCC within 6 months from date of issue, you're good to go.)
2. As long as you don't travel back to India again if you've never visited India after getting the PCC.
I travelled to India to see my parents fr 2 weeks ,within March 2014 and Jun 2015.
I have been in Canada for the past 6yrs, So do I need a new PCC issued from India again? I think I need one,pls confirm
Thank you for the previous response

If you haven't stayed in India for more than 6 months since March 2014, your existing PCC is good enough.

need suggestion, I have similar questions on PCC.
I lived in japan for 1 year and I have a PCC issued in December 2013,
similarly I lived in Nepal for 9 months and also a PCC i got was issued in April 2014.
I have not returned to these countries after the PCC issued date.
please suggest if I need a new PCC or I could send them?

If you've never gone back, these would suffice.
