I applied for visitor visa online on April 9 and no update yet (it has been more than 2 months!!)

At some point they asked for bio-metrics and I went to USCIS office close by and gave fingerprints and all! first of all! how can I know they got the biometrics?

second! since I submit online the NYC office is not answering me and they refer me to CIC office and when I call them they also just refer me NYC office!! my intended travel dates on my application were May 25th (!!) till August, and it past already!!! PLEASE HELP :(

I also got emails a few times that the status has been updated but when I log in I don't see any changes online!
