Hi I just came back to India three months ago from UK after 4.5 years I was on student visa in UK but I live there as a overstay for more than 3 years I want to know can I still apply for student visa for Canada for further studies but I have done my graduation in the year 2005 so there is huge gap ... Can anyone please suggest me the right path what should I do ,....

It will be extremely difficult (if not impossible) to secure a study permit to Canada with a three year overstay in the UK. To be approved for a Canadian study permit, you will have to show that you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term. I don't know how you will be able to prove this with the overstay.

If you wish to apply for a study permit in Canada, you should remain in India for a few years first and develop ties to your home country again before applying to come to Canada.
