Hello everyone,
I have a question. My TRV is expired but I have a valid study permit. I have to travel to India in case of emergency. I have applied for my renewal of TRV but I haven’t gotten any decision. Can I still leave Canada and get it stamped from India when it is approved??
Can I still board a flight with expired TRV?
Please help me out.
Thank you
You can leave with expired TRV you just cant come back.
I believe you would need to inform IRCC that you are no longer in Canada so that you can submit your passport at another processing centre.

Thank you for the information. So do I just call IRCC and inform them what I will be doing?

You can try calling from Canada you might need to submit a webform but call first.

Okay got it. Thank you
Hey,
So I have one more question, can I directly get it stamped from the visa office (without sending my passport) after my TRV application is approved?

No. You need to mail the passport.
