I have a gap of 6 years in my education...can I get visa?

Im applying for special event management (diploma) course in centennial college toronto.i have a gap of 6 years...I discontinued my undergraduation btech(it) in my third year.after that I worked for some event planning companies ..I have 2years of experience in event management field..now I want to do a diploma course on this...can I get visa?if I apply?

Strong SOP explaining all points of your GAP
Get a good score in ielts so that it can nullify gap to some extent
