Hi there,

My study permit was approved one month after my college had resumed classes in September and therefore I was not allowed to join the class. I was told by the school to consider starting next September year because the course is only one intake in a year but my fear now is that my study permit will expire in July next year

My question is can I still apply for study permit extension 30 days before it expires with the updated admission letter i will receive soon? Won`t immigration cross-question me or have a problem with me as to why I did not graduate within the first study permit.

You can go to Canada and change school over there. Then inform IRCC about that. It happens many times. So no need to worry
