I received my 1st AOR on October 1st 2010. After I got my 1st AOR, I have took IELTS test a couple time but I couldn't get to the mark that I wanted. My best scores were R 6.5 L 6.0 W 6.0 S 6.5. By the way, I have sent my best IELTS score with other documents to the Canadian embassy, Singapore . I would like to know that whether or not they would reject my application.

I do not think that you need to worried on it as long as you touch 67 points. And your IELTS Score is fine.

Your first objective should be to secure 67 points with this score. Secondly depending upon your NOC, Visa Officer may evaluate your IELTS score for making a decision. As they expect a certain level of English language skills for people who are expected to use English extensively for their jobs. For e.g. NOC's like 4121 & 4131 may require higher scores.
My openion is different..Since you are having 4121( Instructor ) catagory so you should score more...its not just about achieving the score but you have to show your capability in english(though you are very good ). You are also having doctorate degree & points are fair enough as your spouse education points are not counted.

well, since none of his score is below moderate level, it wont create a problem. if his score was basic in any module then there could be a chance of refusal.

Hi, they will recalculate your score based on the best IELTS results you have sent (as opposed to what you have claimed on your forms). If you still have 67 points or more, then they will not fail you on this.
