I booked my medical appointment without the IME number

I am an international student planning to attend a University in Quebec this fall. I submitted my application during the first week of May, I recently booked my medical appointment without the IME number, should I wait till I get my IME number or should I just go for my appointment?

I have the same question.

Recently IRCC updated their twitter saying that, students who have already submitted their application, should wait for the IME. Should i continue with my medical appointment for 30th June or wait for the IME?

Any response would be much appreciated.
