I applied for EI after March 15 but before Cerb was announced, I was a little confused but I decided to wait it out. They then announced that if you applied for EI it would be transferred to CERB. The first month I received 2000 dollars from CERB and all was well.
The second instalment of CERB has started and I have received nothing in two weeks and I am very confused. When your on EI with cerb you’re supposed to receive 500 a week but all I get is nothing. I know I qualify so I’m very worried. I tried to call but no one will answer any of the EI helplines, and emailing is a lost cause. I have bills to pay and my work is not essential and won’t be opening any time soon.
I’m not receiving EI or CERB now and I feel stranded, does anyone know what I should do. Sorry for posting on here but I literally can’t do anything else.
