I applied for a temporary resident student visa, but I got a worker visa instead.

So I am an international student here on a study permit, and I applied for a temporary resident visa to visit my country for the holidays, but I got a worker visa instead. Which is weird because they asked for student documents, like enrollment history/record and not any work history.

Can I go home and come back with this visa, even though I am a full time student and don't have any job.

If not, how do I get my visa corrected?

A TRV is a TRV. You don't need to have it changed.
