Hello everyone,
I have 15 backlogs in my BE computer science and my overall percentage is 64%. Its my dream to study in Canada and I am going to apply for Canada study and I wanted to know that Do I need to attach my backlog certificate with my visa application in embassy or I can skip this doc and can attach my DMC and Final degree and Provisional Degree. Which will be the best option for me?
Hello everyone,
I have 15 backlogs in my BE computer science and my overall percentage is 64%. Its my dream to study in Canada and I am going to apply for Canada study visa. Can you suggest me some colleges that will accept me with profile and I wanted to know most importantly that Do I need to attach my backlog certificate with my visa application in embassy or I can skip this doc and can attach my DMC and Final degree and Provisional Degree. Which will be the best option for me?
No one can do the research for you so google the program you want to take. You may get admission but getting a study permit is based on more then grades and backlogs - funds, ties to home country, education and career progress (do a masters) and travel history. You do have poor grades and backlogs which may work against you in getting a permit.
Thank you so much for the reply. You are right, I have done the research on colleges and the program that I want to do. I am just confused regarding backlogs. Do I have to submit the backlog certificate in my visa application in embassy ? Because I have read on this forum that some students got there visa without submitting backlog certificate in embassy as it is not mandatory, I saw that posts after posting this thread. Can you please guide me regarding this, if you have any idea about this. It will be really very helpful.

Hello, is this 'backlog' thing just for Indian students under SPP program ? Or visa officers check all international applicants' files regarding to the number of failed subjects during bachelors.
Well its not particularly related to India and as it is not mandatory to submit backlog certificate in embassy with visa application, than i guess visa officer does not check for backlogs. I am not sure. Pls correct me if I am wrong.
