Hi all,
I spoke to IRCC this morning to get a general idea of how my application is progressing. They provided the following information:
- Eligibility: Recommended Passed
- Criminality: Passed
- Medical: Passed
- Security: Underway
My query is, in the event my security is quick, will my application be slowed by my Eligibility being 'Recommended Passed' and not simply passed?

Basically, everyone gets eligibility recommended pass at the beginning. No one has it passed at once! So once your security has come back then a senior officer will look at your eligibility "which was recommended pass" and make it PASS, then give an overall looking at your application and approve it.

Can they even security start before eligibility is passed ?
Can they even security start before eligibility is passed ?
I think it should be like this
Medical Passed
Eligibility - Recommend passed
Criminality - Pass
Started security
if security is good, they will conduct final review and PPR

security (in progress )
Thats me right now .
AOR May 15th my eligibility is under Review required for not able to verify Canadian employer online presence - i gave all T4, pay stubs too.
before Yesterday my Security was not started but yesterday they passed my Security and criminality but still eligibility is under review required per IRCC agent so I am confuse How come they passed security before passing eligibility???
is that something happens as trend is usually eligibility gets completed and then security starts in my case its opposite.
or it might be possible agent wont see status change till senior officer finalizes my application that when eligibility gets changed to passed?
