I am an employer in BC.
LMO application submitted at Oct 24th. 2013. not yet received an answer,
Now getting into 14 weeks.
Any one knows processing time?
This is crazy...I have serious shortage in my restaurant..I really do not understand..so much time and money spent for ad..in 5 different sites and local newspaper..
Thanks for reply..
21 weeks means after LMO office received you application ? or start from 4 weeks advertising in local newspaper?
Please answer me...
21 weeks from lodging the application. My employer advertised 4weeks before lodgement and the new rule is to advertise until a decision is made. Just read on the forum here about a case were the LMO was rejected because of this.

Under Point 4.
Note:
Employers must continue to advertise the available position and actively seek qualified Canadians and permanent residents until the date they receive notification that a labour market opinion has been issued
Are you waiting from outside CA?
Is there any different timeline for high skilled job?
I have applied for NOC 0631 Food service supervisor.
And I am currently advertising since applied..
