I am a Dual National Citizen of both Canada and the United States and Yes, I was Born in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
For Personal Reasons: I have to stay in Canada longer than Six (6) Months and heard that as a Dual National Citizen, I can Only stay here for Six (6) Months at a time.
The Problem is that I am Not sure if I will be staying here for another One (1) Year or Two (2) Years or (3) Years.
Questions:
When I go back to the United States Will I Need To Pay A Fine For My Overstay?
Once I Return Back To The United States and When I Want To Return Back To Canada, What Do I Need To Do In Order To Prevent Being Denied? Remember I Was Born In Canada and My 87 Year Old Mother Still Lives There.
Can anybody Please Give Me Some Solid Advice On What To Do?
Speculation only but maybe somehow the OP entered on their US passport hence the confusion.
Canadian citizens dual or not must always of course use their Canadian passport or equivalent document as a Canadian to enter Canada not as a US citizen or any other citizenship. Likewise a US citizen dual or not must always use their US passport to enter the US.
As answered above No restriction to stay in either country as long as they want.
Post edited to reflect below link specific to Canadian travellers.
