I’m in a trouble and I need advice asap

Hi,

I was supposed to travel back to Canada today but my flight got cancelled so I can’t go anymore because my current study permit is expiring tomorrow. However, my issue is that I applied to extend my study permit within Canada while I was outside because I planned to travel to Canada and receive my extended study permit in the mail. Now I don’t know what to do, I’m scared it will be a fraud and I will be banned. I didn’t apply from outside of Canada for study permit but rather just study permit extension inside of Canada while being outside of Canada. What do I do? Am I seriously in trouble?

Ask someone to has access to your mail to send it to you. I don't think it's a big deal but just be ready to explain your situation to visa officer if needed

Well yes, you shouldn't have applied for extension outside but this is a difficult time cos of corona, I am sure the officers will understand your situation
