Hi,
my refugee case has been denied in february ,I have not received written decision yet nor i have filed any appeal in Federal court.
my question is can i apply on Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds?I have heard that refused refugee can no longer apply on Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds within 12 months of his/her refusal .if its true, then how can i stay in canada and wait for 12 months to be over.This condition is quite disappointing........any help/suggestion is welcome

Hi,sorry about the refusal,I know all too well how devastating it is-I got my refusal in August but they didn't send the written decision to me rather I had to go to my local immigration office where they talked to me about my choices,luckly I was able to apply for inland sponsorship and didn't need to appeal,the officer didn't think it was necessary because they were not planning to remove me and could wait out the decision.- A lawyer would have costed 5,000 dollars to file the appeal
If you don't have a spouse to sponsor you then your only way is to appeal then hope it takes the 12 months!All the best()

As far as i know i had only 15 days from the date of my hearing to file appeal which are already passed .so Is there any luck to appeal after getting written decision?

I contacted CBSA ,they told they haven't got my file yet.
so Do i still have chance to appeal?
