How will I know if my updated reference letter is added to my file?

Hi,

I am a May applicant. I send an updated reference letter since i fear that my original ref letter was missing some main duties. I never got a confirmation email if it was added to my file or not.

Is there any way to find out if the updated ref letter that i send was added? Its been 5 weeks since i email cpp ottawa.

If i order GCMS notes, will i see the updated ref letter in the notes?

you will find it in GCMS notes if not you can send an email requesting about your new reference letter is added to the your file or not.

Tried that too, CIC never responded. Sometimes they respond, sometimes they don't. GCMS is the safe way.

I want to update my reference letter as well. How did you explain why you need to update the letter? My old referene letter missed some duties too. So , I asked my boss to write a new one. I am wondering if I need to explain why I send a new letter to them? Could you tell me how you do it? Thanks.
