In November 2018, I was able able to submit/ upload all the required documents after receiving my invitation to apply. In the cic website there is a progress bar that shows the ESTIMATED time for the assessment. I still have 16 days left for mine (against their average processing time I assume). I have read that some experience a reply within 3 months and some a little over 6 months. So I have two questions
1. Can youshare your experience/ situations regarding the processing time?
2. Would anyone know if there's a way to check the current status (in more detail than the ones in the CIC website) of the application?
I just want to manage my expectations. I really want this and at times I feel like watching a pot and waiting for it to boil.
