How to upload multiple docs on the CIC portal after receiving ITA

So I am trying to upload scanned copies of my two passports, I have 2 passports as my previous one was expired and it is asking me to upload scanned copies of all the passports I have. However when I am trying to do this, if I upload passport 2 after uploading passport 1, it's over writing the first one.

How do I prevent this? Do I have to scan both the passport copies as one whole document and upload it? Please advise.

You have to merge the documents and upload them as a single file.

All documents are to be PDF format except the digital photo - which is in .JPG.
So collect scan of all documents and then make a single PDF file. Upload that file.
If anything needs explaining, mention that in the LoE, which will also be a PDF file.

Do we have to submit all passports? I have about 4 of them. Each one has atleast one visa and travel details. Or does the ten year rule apply here?

Unless there's been a change to the document checklist recently, current and valid passport only.
