Hello, I came to Canada on a closed permit and recently I got Open permit based on my spouse status( student).
My question is can I directly start working on any other company based on my Open permit or do I need to change my status from Closed to Open before I work any other company?
Can someone tell me how to change my Close permit status to Open work permit status by staying with same employer( which i cam here with Closed permit)?
It's possible to hold more than one work permit at a time and you don't need to change your status or inform anyone of anything. If you have a valid open work permit you can start work anywhere you want, immediately.
