How to send passport to New York

We have sent my girlfriends documents to New York for her Work Permit. They replied today saying they need her Passport. They didnt specify how to send it but just to send a prepaid way bill. We are sending from a small town in Alberta and Fed ex is not an option unless she takes a four hour bus ride to Edmonton. She does have a puralator Drop off and a DhL drop off. Has anyong sent documents to New York Via Purolator or DHL.

Why don't you use Canada Post & also send Prepaid Xpress envelope for the return.
