How to respond correctly to the Common-law partner question

Hello,

I recently received an ITA, and am in the process of filling out the PR application!
I couldn't get pass question #2..

Cic asks whether or not my spouse will accompany me to Canada. I have a common-law partner and the plan is obviously that he will, but through sponsorship, and not as a combined application.
I therefore guess that the answer to this question is no, but can someone please confirm this with me???

Yes, you need to select "no".
