I have applied for a status change (from a travelling youth worker visa program, to being a visitor) so that I can stay in Canada with my boyfriend up until Christmas instead of leaving in September (this date has already passed). My question is:
How do I prove that I have implied status until I get the response from Vegreville?
I don't have any proof, other than the receipt for the payment of 75$, of the fact that I have sent off an application for a status change. My work visa has expired already (as I only needed to send in the application 30 days before my visa ran out but it takes atleast 60 days before it is approved).
