How to know where is my PR application file?

Dear Friends,

I have been chasing around. I have been looking for an answer to this question for months. Unfortunately I do not live in North America any more. I need to add my spouse as a dependent to my PR application. But, do not know where to send the documents to?

My file was processed in Buffalo first, then don't know where it is now. I have called CPP-Ottawa couple of times, they are unable to answer. I have been stuck with my application for last 6 months.

Can I just send new documents related to my spouse to CPP-Ottawa?

Please share your experience. Really really need it! Thank you so much
