I sent my CEC application in March and I already received my AOR. I am going to start a new job in July. How do I inform the visa office of employer and occupation change? Do I send an email to the visa office, or do I mail my letter and documents to them? If I have to mail my documents, where should I mail it to? What documents do they require for employer and occupation change?
If my new job has a difference NOC code from the job I put in my CEC application, do I have to specify it in the notification mail and will it affect my application?
if its different NOC, I wont bother to tell them about it. It will only confuse VO.
I know its not legal, but its better than confusing VO.
It was just my opinion,.
In my opinion you should advice the visa office of any relevant changes immediately. I would write a letter stating the changes, sign it, scan it, and send it via email. Just ask them if they want you to send the original via standard mail as well. I assume your file is at CPP-O already. You can find the email and the postal address on the CIC web page. I hope this helps! But they will respond to your email with all necessary information.
Have you posted your timeline under the March 2013 applicants yet?
In another thread some members mentioned that you should inform Ottawa of the changes, but that there's no need to send all the employment details (offer, NOC, job description). Apparently it is not relevant for your CEC application as they will only look at the information you have submitted with your application. However, I am not sure about this and I need to update them on my situation as well (got promoted), so any input from other (senior) members is greatly appreciated.
