How to get my wife to Canada

Hi everyone , my wife is Russian iam American we live in Italy and met and got married here in Italy I got a job in Canada the LMO is ready now I have to get a work permits witch is best to do the Rome Canadian ebassy or POE in Canada ? And the best why to bring my wife with me or let her come after what do I have to do for easy way ?

As long as you have a complete medical package, you can apply at POE. It will be a lot faster - but you must have the application 100% with all documents in order.

Depending your job's NOC code, your wife could apply for a spousal work permit. She could also try a visitor's visa, but there's almost no chance of that being approved.

Since you're American, the POE will be faster. Generally, Americans can enter Canada on their passport alone. Just make sure meet other eligibility requirements to enter Canada. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-who.asp

I wouldn't plan on your wife being able to enter Canada with you. She can't apply for a spouse work permit until you have yours because she must mail a copy of your work, LMO, and marriage certificate with her application.
