how to get Canada police certification from USA

Hello Everyone,
I am eligible for Express entry and trying to get my documentation done before i can get a Express entry. and one of documentation is Police certification of countries you lived.
i have stayed in Canada for more than 15 months and now i am living in USA. and want to know how can i get police certificate for Canada?
I look at CIC website and didn't get enough information , so need some guidance. please help me.

You don't need to provide a police certificate from Canada when you submit your application, because they have direct access to the relevant RCMP record.
In a few cases, they may request it, but only during your application.

Very unlikely unless you have a record of some sort. In all my time on this forum, maybe I've counted them on one hand.
