I've been trying to talk to an actual human being who can help me with my current situation, but it seems the last thing IRCC wants is us talking to an agent.
My ecas status has been DM since January 16 and we still haven't gotten PPR--whereas applicants who got DM much later than us have already landed in Canada. According to the most recent notes, my husband has been approved for his visa and his visa is in "queue for printing".
I have sent numerous emails to NDVO (where our case is being processed) but no answer. I called the CHC in New Delhi and the annoying lady kept saying "you must write email" to EVERY question I asked. Lastly, my MP has sent a letter inquiry to ND but they still haven't heard anything back from them.
Can anyone suggest any other way to find out what the heck is going on with our case? Would emailing the Minister of IRCC help? Any other phone number I can try?
I am assuming since it says "In Queue" which means they haven't printed it and that's why no PPR?
In any case, the best case scenario is to send a case specific query thru email. Unless your MP gets a better reply from NDVO.
The reason they don't want agents answering on phone is because they would be then sitting the whole day just answering phones from all the sponsors/PA's. They wouldn't be able to work. Plus added extra cost for a Call centre for each and every office in the world.

But do they not need the passport to print the visa on? It makes no sense, especially because there have been applicants who received DM much later than me and have already gotten their PPR.
I've sent at least 3 case specific inquires in the last 6 weeks, but of course, no reply from them.
It makes sense for them not to have agents talk for things they can easily find answers to online, but I feel like there should be another outlet where they can help for condition like mine or other complicated situations. Just my opinion
