How to find a job in Vancouver

Hi All
My husband currently working in Vancouver with closed work permit. I'm gonna join with him with a visitor Visa. as far as I have researched it is mentioned that I'm eligible for open work permit for the same duration of my husband's permit. I would like to work there in Vancouver. How to search a job? How to find which job is high in demand?
Basically I'm from India having 4 years of IT experience.
Is there any short term certification program which will help me get a job.

Expert guidance is much appreciated.

You will need to search a job site such as indeed.ca but do not expect to be offered any job until in Canada with a permit.

It could take 4 months to get the owp so I would apply for it now.
