My wife is applying for TRV visit visa, and before marriage her last name was different. After marriage she changed her last name to my (her husband) first name. Her current passport shows her current updated name however our marriage certificate shows her older last name, and same goes with her educational documents.
How do I deal with this because I need to attach the marriage certificate and educational documents with her TRV application ??
The only thing connecting the two names together that I have is her CNIC (Pakistani National ID Card). Her older CNIC mentioned her old name, and her current CNIC mentions her current new name, and the ID number is same on both cards, thereby connecting the two names together. However, her old CNIC is not in English, while her new CNIC IS in English.
How do I deal with this ?
She's also currently enrolled in a university program which started before her name change, and so the institution is still using the older name. The enrollment letter they'll generate will thus probably mention the older name. Would this be a problem ?
Yes + include a small explanation (and any affidavit for the name change that was submitted to the passport authorities, if applicable).

But I don't have her old physical CNIC which I assume is needed to get an official translation in Pakistan. I just have a scan of her old CNIC which I've kept for my personal records.
NADRA in Pakistan take your old CNIC when they issue a new one.

It's a simple name change after marriage from maiden to married name. IMO, you're complicating it.
Keep to the basic documents: Marriage certificate, affidavit for name change, spouse passport (yours) + her old and new passports + the small explanation
Yup her old name is declared there. Is it okay if her ongoing university enrollment letter mentions her old name ?
