Hi There,

I worked as a freelance developer for US based company/companies in my home country. I have received ITA just recently. I have over 3 years of work experience as freelancer.

However, my hours varied differently ( as it was task based projects which were paid by hours but still had to cap tracking of hours to not go over estimation to maintain long-term relations with clients ).

Hours ranged from 10-70hr/week.

Considering following scenario, can I count total eligiblehours/30 ( i.e 230/30 = 7.67 ~= 7 ) as a Full Time Experience weeks? and then show 52 such weeks to claim 1 year of experience? ( I do have invoice for each and every week down to minutes worked of around 4 years, so no issue proving payments and 3 * 52 FTE weeks etc. )

Thanks in advance.

This is how you do the calculation.
- Each week where you worked 30 hours or more counts as 1 week of work experience.
- Each week where you worked fewer than 30 hours, add up the total number of hours and divide by 30.
- When the two totals above equal 52 or more, you have a year of work experience.
