How to check the Security assessment status

Hi Folks

Can you please tell me how can I check the Security check status? I ordered the GCMS notes recently and can see the following:

Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Other reqs: Cancelled
Security: <Blanked out>

Can anyone please guide me on this issue?

Also note that security issues are sometime not released to the public; which country are you from?

The security check is done by other government department. And a friend in the forum told me it may take 8-12 months.

It doesn't take that long. Security usually can take from 2 weeks to 3-4 months, depending on may factors (Personal Experience).

The last part in CEC PR application is Security Check...
Once you pass Eligibility, Criminality, Medical than they do Security... It may takes 2-8 weeks for the Security(Depend on Various Factor).

Otherwise everyone will get their PR after end of second year of application.

I don't think there is any order in which applications are assessed, a lot of us in the April group appear to have Criminality done first.

Actually I do not think it is so long. However, a August 2013 applicant told me that. I am waiting for PPR now and got a reply from CIC last week to say my application is under security check.

Did you undertake a case specific inquiry? I mean how did you receive this info?
