How to check status for ICT visa

Hi my company applied for an ICT Visa for me. It was applied Online
I have the application number
I have also completed the biometrics

Is there a way for me to check the application status on my own ?

You need your UCI and application number to link your Application to your IRCC account. If you do that, your company, or if they used an immigration consultant or lawyer, will lose access to see the status of your app. After biometrics, your online status will remain static anyways, until you receive a decision.

If you have your UCI and app number, you can call IRCC, raise a webform or order GCMS notes to ask about the status of your app.

UCI is a ten digit number.

Not sure if the BIL format for wp is the same for PR, as I can see my UCI in mine. If it’s your first time applying to Canada for any kind of visa, you won’t see that in the documents submitted as IRCC is yet to assign you with one.

I have work colleague in India who’s transferring to our Canadian office. He gave his bio in January 2021 and got approved in early March. So around 2 months. Not sure on when he’s coming over though because of the quarantine restrictions.

When we apply for ICT from India - we need to do medical upfront and provide the same during online application submission.
i heard update of medical results itself takes about 4 weeks. Is this true ? Any idea

They say GSS takes 2 week approval - then how does it work if the medical updation itself takes 4 weeks - thy cannot approve VISA without medicals ?


does the application status is updated by IRCC at each step like biometic comepletion / medical results updated etc ?

I’ve already answered your DM. Not sure where you got 4 weeks on medical.

Online Submission - 8th March
Medical test Submission - 8th March - Upfront for Dependent
Biometric - 25th March - Self
Biometric - Dependent - 18th March
PPR mail - 14th April
