the client ID is the UCI number located on any immigration canada document you have.

You would choose UCI, client id # from the drop down, insert that number (sometimes with the - if it won't accept it without)

Put in your name, birthday and country of birth.

That should do it.

Client Id. or Unique Client Identification is a eight (8) digit number in the format: 1234-5678. You do not need to add the dash (-) when looking up for your application status, just enter the 8 digits like 12345678. On your PR card, it is labelled as ID. No.
