I moved to canada about 3 years back and i got my name changed to my husabnds last name before comeing here. I now would like to add my maiden name as my middle name. I do not know what all i need to do? Please help and tell me all the steps i need to take to change it here in canada.
It depends on what province you live in. If you are in AB, you would do it at a registry. Once you'd have your name legally changed, you'd get a certificate of name change and you could send a cerfified copy of that to CIC and ask them to change your name in their records.
