Hi All,

I have a CSQ in hand and recently I got my federal file # too, currently I am working for a company on closed work permit and my wife also works on open work permit. Now I would like to switch to new company which is ready to sponsor VISA, I would like to understand

1. What will happen during the new closed work permit application?
2. I cannot tell my current employer until I get my new work permit, is it okay to resign job and work for few weeks for old employer once I get new work permit?
3. Should my wife needs to apply for new open work permit or she can continue on old open work permit?
4. Can I go to border and get a work permit? (What are the documents I need to bring to border officer?)
4. Is there any chance I can get an open work permit?
